Hamster Jam: Food Sort Puzzle (“the game”) is made by Zuxy Capital (“we”). This policy explains what data the game handles and why. We keep it to the minimum a free, ad-supported game needs.
Your game progress
Your progress (level, coins, boosters, costumes, settings) is stored on your device and in your private iCloud storage so it can sync between your devices. We cannot see your iCloud data.
Gameplay analytics
To balance difficulty and improve the game, the app sends anonymous gameplay events to our own server (metrics.hamsterjam.me, operated by us; no third-party analytics service). These include: levels started, won or lost, boosters and coins used, screens opened, costumes chosen, ads shown and purchases made (product and price, without any payment details), session length, and optional answers to the in-game “How do you like the game?” survey.
Each event carries a random install ID generated by the app (it is not the advertising identifier and changes if you reinstall), the app version, device model, iOS version, language, time zone and your country, which is derived from your IP address; the IP address itself is not stored. If you installed the game from an Apple Search Ads ad, Apple's AdServices tells us which campaign it was, without tracking you.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts or precise location, do not link this data to your identity and do not sell it. Data is kept for up to 24 months. You can turn analytics off at any time in the game: Settings → Anonymous statistics. Legal basis (EU/UK): our legitimate interest in keeping the game working well and fun.
Advertising
The game shows ads from Google AdMob (Google LLC), between levels and as optional rewarded videos. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when asked), approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about ad interactions and app performance, to show and measure ads. Ads are limited to general-audience content. In the EU/UK you are asked for consent first and can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also turn off tracking in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details; we only receive confirmation of what was bought so we can deliver it.
Game Center and notifications
If you sign in to Game Center, Apple handles your profile and leaderboard scores. Notifications are local reminders scheduled on your device; you can switch them off in Settings.
Children
The game is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete analytics data linked to your install ID, or object to its processing, by writing to the address below. We reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
